China Glaze Electric beat + Stamping

I used China Glaze Electric beat and Accessorize Sapphire and Cheeky plate CH11 for this stamping. I actually really like it, turned out better then i thought and it stamped on brilliantly.

China Glaze Kinetic Candy + Stamping

I've missed doing stamping on my nails lately, so seeing as today has been the first day of doing NOTHING :-) i decided to use China Glaze Kinetic Candy and cheeky plate 16. I tried many colours out first before settling on using another of my new polishes China Glaze Deviantly Daring for the stamping. I wasn't sure to start with how the polish would turn out as it seem a little watery but it was brilliant to stamp with.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to get stamps to fit the thumb nail. I hate having the gaps around each side every time on my thumb :-(

OPI Planks alot

Planks alot is another of the £4 colours i managed to buy the other weekend in Debenhams.
I have loads of purples but this one didn't look like any of my other ones. Its more of a dark dusty purple. It's applied well if really carefully you could get away with 2 coats.

I haven't done much sta, ping of late so decided to use konad plate m65 and konad white. This stamp was a huge pain, i just couldn't get it to look nice, i don't know if it was the design or the polish but it just didn't apply nicely.

OPI Diva of Geneva

Such a pretty colour. This is a red.plum colour with a golden shimmer to it. When i bought this i didn't realise i had bought a very similar colour No7 Damson Dream. Between the two i prefer this one, it only needed 2 coats only my thumb needed an extra coat which i didn't see until i took this picture. Damson dream needed 4 coats and chipped within the first day.

The only difference i could see between the two was Diva of Geneva was very slightly that bit darker.

My right hand is always that bit messier then my left. Completely forgot to take a picture only remember when i was half way through stamping my left hand.

For this pattern i used Konad white and Konad plate m65

China Glaze Electric Beat + Stamping

This is one of my newer colours i just received, it's China Glaze Electric Beat, this blue is really nice soft light blue creme. The polish went on really nice, it only took 3 coats, could of gotten away with 2 very careful coats.

China Glaze Pink Plumeria + Stamping

This is such a pretty colour, looks great if you have a tan, not sure it'll look as nice when your have pale hands in winter but it is still a beautiful colour. It's a soft orange pink colour with a shimmer to it.

This picture is with 3 coats

I then used one of my new Konad plates m85.

I'm not 100% happy with this stamp design, i like the pattern but it didn't seem to stamp on well which i think was more to do with the fact i'm really tired and haven't done any stamping in over a week. I'm going to give this stamp design another go another day and hopefully it'll come out better.

Lime Crime and Nubar

I rarely seem to use Lime Crimes Milky Ways as it tends to look plain on its own. So i went through my collection and choose Nubars Hollywood Pink to use as a stamping polish. I really wasn't sure how this would turn out as i hadn't used this polish for stamping before and i could barely see it on the stamper. But after really taking my time the turned out ok, it's not one of my favourites but still looks good.

I used konad plate m60 then finished with Rimmels Matte top coat

China Glaze + Stamping

I've once again used China Glaze Foie Gras for the base of this stamping as i love the colour so much. I used Konad plate m64 and konad white. I really do like this pattern

I'm making the most of my nails looking like this as tomorrow i will be getting my nails shellac'ed for holiday. I don't know how i am going to cope with the same coloured nails for over a week!!!!

Rimmel Exotica + Stamping

This is one of my favourite reds in my collection, i have had this nail polish for years, I'm certain it was one of the first in my collection.

Exotica is a vibrant metallic red with a gold shimmer. The shimmer shows slightly on the nail but not as much as it does in the bottle. As much as i love this colour i don't tend to wear red much as i find its too much of a rich colour for me, but since i started stamping i have worn it much more as the stamping break up the colour more. The colour that i find goes really nice with red is a gold.

The only downside to this polish i have found is that it stains my nails more then any other colour even with a base coat. The only base coat which has been thick enough to help prevent that is Boots No7 base coat, i use two coats of it before adding this polish and i now find once i take it off there is very little staining, other then some redness on the skin from where it was rubbed to be removed.

For this stamping i used cheeky plate CH7 and Accessorize metalized one coat in Jewel.

More Flower stamping

As i said in a prevous post i do like my flower stamping and i promise i will certainly change it up from now on.

I did this design on my friends nails a few weeks ago, i think it looks lovely, its not once of my best, i could of done it so much neater, i find it harder doing other peoples nails then my own, they never end up as neat but i'm slowly getting there. Will certainly have to redo this design at some point.

For this design i used Nubar white peony then stamped using Cheeky plate CH12 and Accessorise metalized one coat in greige then for the dots i used lime crimes parfait day, lavendairy and once in a blue mousse.

Ciate Jelly Bean + Stamping

This is the latest nail stamping i have done and one of the quickest as there wasn't much polish to clear up afterwards. I used 2 coats of Ciate Jelly Bean which is a lovely fuschia pink with a blue/purple shimmer to it, unfortunately the shimmer doesn't really show on the nail like it does in the bottle. Once dried it gives a lovely glossy finish. I used cheeky plate CH14 with konad white, then finished off with a matte top coat by Rimmel.

Flower Stamping on Accessorize polish

I have a big thing for flower nail stamping, i just think they look really pretty, i tend to always lean towards those designs when deciding which one to use. I need to start experimenting more with other patterns.

For this design i used Boots No7 base coat, i really do like this base coat it normally retails at £5.50 but if you have the recent Boots £3 off make up voucher you can pick it up for £2.50 so i picked a couple of those up aswell as the top coat and i'm very impressed with both. I tend to use my Boots top coat more then my seche top coat lately.

The colour i used was Accessorize Metalized one coat in Sapphire, i do like there one coat range and have brought all of them, unforunately they don't have many only about 6 or 7 these are perfect if you don't have alot of time to get your nails done as one coat really does cover completely and they are also brilliant for stamping. I bought mine from my local Superdrugs store but i have noticed that not all of there shops sell the range.

The stamping plate i used was Cheeky CH14 and konad white, i finished off with Boots No7 Top coat. The end result of this manicure i think is really pretty. The blue and white go really well together and stand out. I do however get annoyed that the patterns are just that bit to small to fit my thumb!
